Winterization and Shrinkwrap Services

Winterization and Shrinkwrap 

• Premium Winterization - Recommended Every Year -
  • Sterndrive - Stabilize fuel, Flush engine, Change Gear Lube, Lubricate U-Joints, Change engine oil and filter, Change Water Separator Filter, run antifreeze through motor.  We're insured and offer a very competitive price.   
  • Outboard - Stabilize fuel, Change Gear Lube, Change oil and filter on 4 strokes, flush motor, stabilize fuel, fog engine. 
  • PWC - Stabilize fuel, run antifreeze through motor, change jet pump lube, disconnect battery, change oil and filter on four strokes
• Basic Winterization Service - Stabilizer is added to fuel, motor is flushed with tap water, Antifreeze run through motor.
• Shrinkwrap - Whether you store outside or in a barn, shrinkwrapping your boat will keep it as nice as it was when you put it away.  Shrinkwrap fits tightly to your boat or pwc so there is no chaffing or rubbing against your gelcoat or flapping grommets that could nick or scratch the finish.  The shrinkwrap we use is 7 mm and has UV protection built in to protect your valuable possession from the sun.  It is very sturdy and can support lots of heavy snow until the sun strikes it and it glides off the boat.  Unlike a tarp that can accumulate water, ice, and snow that can damage railings and the interior of the boat.  We will put a blower in your boat if necessary to  make certain that it is as dry as can be before wrapping.                  
• Storage -  Secure, well lighted, fenced in storage.  Only $425.00* + tax November thru April.

• Trailer Repair - We can repack your wheel bearings, repair brakes, replace bunks and winches, and trailer jacks.  We can troubleshoot nagging wiring issues.

Pre-season Preventative Maintenance

• Basic Recommissioning - Recommended Every Year -  Charge Batteries, defog engine from winterization, run engine, check all basic systems, notify of necessary and suggested repairs
• Premium Recommissioning - Recommended Every Other Year - Basic Recommissioning plus pull drive and inspect for possible wear of u-joints, gimbal bearing, coupler, bellows, etc.  This could save you thousands down the road!
